Al Qeida & Bin LadenEdit

Al Qaida is a global militant Sunni Islamist group founded by the CIA, sometime between August 1988 to late 1989, and headed by Osama bin Laden. It operates as a network comprising both a International, stateless army and a radical Sunni Muslim movement calling for global Jihad.

In Arabic, Al Qeida means "the base" which is a short form of Q eidat ilmu'ti'aat, the exact translation of the English word "database". "Al Qaida was the data base of the Islamic Conference. Not all member countries of the Islamic Conference are 'rogue states' and many Islamic groups could pick up information from the databases. It was but natural for Osama Bin Laden to be connected to this network. He is a member of an important family in the banking and business world.[1]

"Because of the presence of 'rogue states,' it became easy for terrorist groups to use the email of the database. Hence, the email of Al Qaida was used, with some interface system, providing secrecy, for the families of the mujaheddin to keep links with their children undergoing training in Afghanistan, or in Libya or in the Beqaa valley, Lebanon. Or in action anywhere in the battlefields where the extremists sponsored by all the 'rogue states' used to fight. And the 'rogue states' included Saudi Arabia.

In mid-1979, about the same time as the Soviet Union deployed troops into Afghanistan, the United States began spending several hundred million dollars a year, funding a Afghan Mujahideen insurgency fighting the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan and the Soviet Army in Operation Cyclone. Along with native Afghan mujahideen were Muslim volunteers from Arabic countries, popularly known as Afghan Arabs. The most famous of the Afghan Arabs was Osama bin Laden, known at the time as a wealthy and pious Saudi who provided his own money and helped raise millions from other wealthy Gulf Arabs.

  • In the Arabic world, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al Qaida or Al Qaeda.
  • In CIA terms, Al Qaeda is the DataBase of CIA Trained 'Terrorists'.

In essence, there is no official organization calling themselves the Al Qaida, it is a name given by the CIA to the terrorists it had trained, so that they can be prosecuted.[2] Note that obama has now made peace with this so-called Al Qaida [3].
